Buff CARES attended Another Chance House’s monthly Gratitude meeting. Buff CARES handed out Recovery Coins to recognize and affirm milestones of recovery. We would like to thank Another Chance House for allowing Buff CARES to celebrate your recovery journey and embrace your gratitude.

Buff CARES would like to invite you to Celebration of Recovery Speaker Meeting. Come hear a powerful story of recovery, resilience, and personal growth shared by one of our Buff CARES students. This is a great opportunity to find inspiration, encouragement, and support whether you are in recovery, an ally, or simply curious about the journey of healing.

Buff CARES participated in Brothers Against Drunk Driving (BADD) event hosted by Omega Delta Phi at WTAMU in partnership with Andrea's Project . The event was held at the WTAMU Alumni Banquet Hall on Wednesday, March 11th 2026. This event brought together community partners committed to prevention, wellness, safety, and to share resources with WT students and attendees.

The 21st annual Faculty and Student Research Poster Session and Research Fair was held on March 5th, 2026, at the Cornette Library on WTAMU Campus.

Buff CARES Program Director Nita Likes, a doctoral student in educational leadership: “The Efficacy of Collegiate Recovery Programs on Recovery Capital and Resiliency”, showcased her poster and research at the session.

Thank you to the Program Director Nita Likes for all that you do for the recovery community.
