The best way to spot a sore spot is observation of a horseโ€™s reactions to the treatment ๐Ÿ‘€ Horses canโ€™t speak to us with words, but they do speak with their actions, and you know what they say about actions speaking louder than words.

Licking the lips, big sighs and yawns ๐Ÿฅฑ are all really good signs. It means your horse is enjoying the treatment. Their tired muscles are loosening, and the soreness is relieved from their joints. This tells us your horse is happy, feeling great, and ready to work! โœ…

While we love seeing a horse who feels great, it is our job to spot the early signs before they become problems. A major indicator for us is a horse in discomfort. Observations include a horse wrinkling their nose and holding their breath when a certain area is targeted. That is a clear sign that we found the culprit and can apply a specific tactic to relieve pain. โœ…
