If you or someone you care about has walked through psychological or emotional abuse, I want to share something really special. đź’š

My incredible intern, Hanna, is leading a 7-week online support group for women based on Healing from Hidden Abuse. She has such a gentle, steady presence, and this group is truly designed to help women feel supported, understood, and a little less alone.

Each week, you’ll unpack the stages of healing, learn practical tools, and connect with others who “get it” in a safe, judgment-free space. It’s a beautiful combination of psychoeducation, reflection, and real community.

Mondays, January 12 – February 23, 2026

I just wanted to let you know that my Healing from Hidden Abuse group is starting soon, and spaces are already filling up. If this has been on your heart, now might be the time.

This group is for women who’ve experienced emotional abuse, whether it came from a toxic partner or a narcissistic parent.

Maybe you spent years questioning yourself, feeling like you were walking on eggshells, or wondering why things always felt “off,” even when everything looked fine on the outside.

If you're craving a space to breathe, process, and begin healing alongside others who get it, this is for you.

We start August 25 and meet virtually for 7 weeks. I’ll be there every step of the way.

🧭 You know that feeling when you've spent so much of your life trying not to take up too much space...like if you were just a little quieter, a little more agreeable, things would be easier?

If you grew up with a narcissistic parent, that might have been your survival strategy. Shrinking felt safer.

But friend… that’s not the life you're meant to keep living.
You don’t have to stay small. You don’t have to disappear to feel okay.

You get to take up space now. You get to breathe deeply, speak freely, and be fully, unapologetically you.

That’s what Finding Your True North is all about. Gently unlearning all that old programming and remembering who you were before you were told to be less. 💚

🧭 It took me a long time to learn that boundaries weren’t about being mean or pushing people away. I finally discovered that boundaries were about coming home to myself.

Do the hard work of saying no to what drains you and yes to what protects your peace. It’s not always easy, but it is worth it.

Every time you choose calm over chaos, self-respect over people-pleasing, and peace over pressure you’re honoring the version of you that’s finally learning to feel safe in her own skin. 💚

There’s a version of you that did everything she could to survive. You kept the peace, stayed small, tiptoed around moods, buried your needs. That version helped you make it through. But now? You don’t have to live there anymore. It’s okay to grow, change, set boundaries, use your voice, and become someone who thrives, not just survives. You’re not betraying your past self, you’re honoring her by choosing something better.

Today is my rest and recover day. I’ve learned that if I’m going to keep showing up for my clients and students in the ways that matter, I have to carve out time to reset. Fridays are that time for me. Feet up, fuzzy socks, sweatpants, and a little breathing room.

If you grew up with a parent who constantly disapproved of you or made you feel like you were never enough, you probably struggle with self-doubt or feel unsure of who you are now.

That kind of invalidation impacts our relationship with ourselves. It shapes the way we see ourselves, sometimes for years. You start to question your worth, your choices, even your direction in life.

But none of that was your fault.

Healing is about gently unlearning those old messages and reconnecting with who you truly are, not who you were told to be.

Finding Your True North is all about helping you come home to yourself. 🧭

Can we please normalize communication that feels safe, respectful, and real? (Even when it's hard.)

Healthy communication sounds like:
✔ “Can we talk about what just happened?”
✔ “I’m feeling hurt, not because you're bad, but because this matters to me.”
✔ “I need a little time to think before responding.”
✔ “Here’s what I meant when I said that…”
✔ “Let’s figure this out together.”

Healthy communication isn’t about saying the perfect thing. It’s about staying grounded, honest, and open.
It’s about creating a space where both people can feel seen and heard.

If you grew up around yelling, silence, guilt trips, or walking on eggshells, this kind of communication might feel foreign… even scary...that’s okay. It takes time.
