This afternoon, we had the pleasure of welcoming John from High Point.
A big thank you to Elle for sending him our way!

John’s music was such a joy to listen to — he is truly talented. Our seniors were singing along to so many of the songs he played, and it filled the room with smiles, memories, and happiness.

This morning, we welcomed our Pet Therapy visitor, Tricia Boone — and we had the joy of meeting Oliver for the first time!

Oliver was such a sweet boy. He happily made his way around the room, greeting everyone and offering his paw to all. Our clients absolutely adored him and are already looking forward to his next visit .

Today, our volunteer Maris came in and shared the story of Koko the gorilla. She told us how Koko was able to communicate using American Sign Language and even understood around 2,000 spoken English words. What a fascinating and inspiring story—thank you, Maris!❤️

Today’s Craft: Family Thankful Tree 🍁💛

Today we created our Family Thankful Trees, and the clients truly enjoyed this meaningful activity. They carefully glued and placed each leaf onto their trees, and once they were done, they wrote the names of their loved ones on the leaves.

It was beautiful to watch them write the names of their children, grandchildren, spouses, and special people who hold a place in their hearts. The room was filled with smiles, memories, and heartfelt stories.

We had such a wonderful time creating these Family Thankful Trees, and the clients were so proud to take them home and share with their families.
