Something to be aware of, toys that we may think of as being harmless or safe can still cause damage to your child's eyes. Wear appropriate safety glasses!
Studies from the Ophthalmology Department, Rothschild Foundation Hospital have reported and increasing trend in the incidence of eye injuries associated with "nonpowder guns" among children. The toys most often involved were foam projectiles, BB or airsoft guns, paintball guns and unspecifed. The study suggested that consumers pay attention to age labeling of toys and consider the use of protective goggles.
