Our Veterans LOVE this time of year! We really enjoy all the groups who stop by to carol for our Veterans. Last week we enjoyed the Cape Central Middle School Roaring Tiger 6th Grade Honor Choir. These kids did a great job and we are so thankful they stopped by to sing. Thank you to Cape Middle School and Mr. Joseph Moore for bringing your students to sing!

Thank you to all the volunteers, troop leaders, and scouts from the Shawnee District of Greater St. Louis Area Scouting for your generous donation to the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home Foundation. We appreicate you supplying items from our wishlist. Our Veterans will get a lot of use from the disposable razors, Little Debbie snack cakes, mouth wash and other items that you donated. Thank you to the Shawnee District Scouts for supporting our Veterans!

Yesterday our Veterans had the opportunity to “shop” for their loved ones at the annual American Legion Auxiliary Christmas Store! Everything in the store is free for our Veterans so they can participate in giving with the Christmas spirit. Thank you to our local Legion Auxiliary members who gave their time to make our Veterans Christmas special.
