The Chateau Girardeau is Southeast Missouri's premier continuing care retirement community offering independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care and senior rehabilitation therapies all on one campus. Since 1979, our community has served seniors with a vision founded in faith and guided by a commitment to premier care and housing. Today, The Chateau has grown to include 120 Independent Living homes, a Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation facility, Assisted Living apartments, and a nationally recognized therapy team and program. Residents have access to on-campus amenities such as formal and casual culinary options, exercise classes, and a full schedule of daily activities. Off-campus, residents of The Chateau are never far from Capeโs world-class medical centers, golf clubs, downtown shopping, Southeast Missouri State University events, or the Mississippi riverfront.
