NEUROPATHY BREAKTHROUGH TREATMENT: Now Accepting Medicare and most Insurance
Capitola , CA —The most common method doctors will recommend to treat neuropathy is with prescription drugs that may temporarily reduce symptoms. These drugs have names such as Gabapentin/Neurotin, Lyrica, and Cymbalta and are primarily antidepressant or anti-seizure drugs. These drugs may cause discomfort and have a variety of harmful side effects.
Neuropathy is a result of damage to the nerves often causing weakness, discomfort, numbness, tingling, and the most debilitating balance problems. This damage is commonly caused by a lack of blood flow to the nerves in the hands and feet which causes the nerves to begin to degenerate due to lack of nutrient flow.
As the blood vessels that surround the nerves become diseased they shrivel up which causes the nerves to not get the nutrients to continue to survive. When these nerves begin to “die” they cause balance problems, discomfort numbness, tingling, burning, and many additional symptoms.
The main problem is that doctors tell patients to just live with the problem or try the drugs which individuals don’t like taking because they may cause discomfort.
There is now a facility right here in Capitola CA that offers hope without taking those endless drugs with serious side effects.
In order to effectively treat neuropathy three factors must be determined:
1) What is the underlying cause?
2) How Much Nerve Damage Has Been Sustained. NOTE: Once 85% nerve loss has been sustained, there is likely nothing that we can do.
3) How much treatment will be required?
The treatment we provide has three main goals:
1) Increase blood flow
2) Stimulate small fiber nerves
3) Decrease brain-based discomfort
One treatment to increase blood flow utilizes a specialized Laser Therapy (FDA cleared) using this advanced powerful technology. This technology was originally developed by NASA to assist in increasing blood flow.
Laser Therapy is like watering a plant. The light therapy will allow the blood vessels to grow back around the peripheral nerves and provide them with the proper nutrients to heal and repair. It’s like adding water to a plant and seeing the roots grow deeper and deeper.
UPDATE: Numerous patients graduate from care with little to no discomfort from neuropathy. They can sleep without discomfort walk further, enjoy their time with grandkids and even go on vacations without neuropathy discomfort.
Recovery is possible. Many have even spoken with their doctors and either reduced or completely eliminated their medications.
The amount of treatment needed to allow the nerves to fully recover varies from person to person and can only be determined after a detailed neurological and vascular evaluation.
As long as at least 85% nerve damage has not been sustained there is hope!
We are proud to bring the these therapies to the Central Coast.
Dr. Stanley MD & Dr. White D.C. will do a neuropathy severity examination to determine the extent of the nerve damage.
This neuropathy severity examination will consist of a detailed history review & sensory evaluation, peripheral vascular testing, and a detailed analysis of the findings. NOW ACCEPTING MEDICARE AND MOST INSURANCE.

According to Hugh Fudenberg, MD (http://members.aol.com/nitrf), the world’s leading immunogeneticist and 13th most quoted biologist of our times (nearly 850 papers in peer review journals), if an individual has had five consecutive flu shots between 1970 and 1980 (the years studied) his/her chances of getting Alzheimer’s Disease is ten times higher than if they had one, two or no shots. I asked Dr. Fudenberg why this was so and he said it was due to the mercury and aluminum that is in every flu shot (and most childhood shots). The gradual mercury and aluminum buildup in the brain causes cognitive dysfunction. Is that why Alzheimer’s is expected to quadruple? Notes: Recorded from Dr. Fudenberg’s speech at the NVIC International Vaccine Conference, Arlington, VA September, 1997. Quoted with permission. Alzheimer’s to quadruple statement is from John’s Hopkins Newsletter Nov 1998.

Frozen shoulder may be closely connected to a spinal subluxation or a cervical spinal injury. This condition occurs when the shoulder doesn’t move. Frozen shoulder can develop from inflamed soft tissue and causes limited range of motion in the shoulder. Proper functioning nerves connected to C5, C6, and C7 in the cervical spine can help improve frozen shoulder symptoms.
A spinal adjustment can help increase circulation to reduce pain and improve the range of motion in your shoulder. If you or someone you know is suffering from frozen shoulder, call us today 831-325-0202 to schedule your exam only $99.

Fluoroquinolone antibiotics.
They are really bad news!
We've known for years that they increase your risk for tendon rupture and connective tissue disorders. New research is showing they cause a 47% increase in peripheral neuropathy- that is, they cause nerve damage, numbness and pain. In some, it is permanent! They also have a high incidence of instigating mental health disorders and causing dangerously low blood sugar. This class of antibiotics, such as Cipro, Levaquin, Tequin, Avelox, etc. should be reclassified as poisons.
They were meant to only be used in the most antibiotic-resistant cases, but are often used as a first choice of doctors. We have helped many patients throughout the years reverse their Neuropathy. For more information call 831-325-0202

Fluoroquinolone antibiotics, such as Levofloxacin and Ciprofloxacin, appear to increase the risk of peripheral neuropathy by 47%. However, there is no significant increased risk of developing neuropathy associated with amoxicillin use.

Our Non-Invasive, Drug Free Treatment Options Can Provide Long-Lasting Relief
Our goal for the treatment for peripheral neuropathy is to treat any underlying cause, to control your symptoms, and to help you become pain-free. By determining the cause of the nerve damage, we can develop the most efficient treatment program to relieve your pain while reducing the symptoms. There are a number of tests that can be administered to determine the amount of damage that has been done to the nervous system. Based upon the results we offer a variety of non-surgical, drug free, treatment options to reduce, and even eliminate, the symptoms associated with peripheral neuropathy.
