This quote, later popularized by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, reminds us that courage doesn’t mean being fearless. It means speaking anyway.
For many people with disabilities, advocacy can feel uncomfortable, risky, or exhausting. But progress has always started when someone was brave enough to speak up — for dignity, independence, and inclusion.
