📣 Exciting Update from Aban Kitchen
Dear friends, customers, and community,
We are pleased to announce that Aban Kitchen has officially found a buyer.
For more than a decade, this restaurant has been our dream, our purpose, our second home, our sacrifice, and our love poured into a plate. We built this place with our hands and held it together with our hearts — but you — our community — gave it life. Every warm smile, every returned visit, every family who made us part of their routine… you became the soul of Aban Kitchen.
We are grateful to tell you that the new owners plan is to keep the same name, the same recipes, the same flavors, and the same identity that you have loved all these years. Our family will be spending time with them, teaching every recipe, every spice blend, every technique, and every small detail that makes Aban Kitchen’s food what it is. More importantly, we will be passing down the love and the heart that go into our cooking — because that is what truly makes this restaurant special. We believe they will honor the soul of this place while bringing their own passion and care to it.
The new owners will officially start in January 2026. We kindly ask that you please be patient with them — they have a lot to learn, and our recipes take time, care, and true effort to master from scratch. They are committed to doing it right, and your patience and support will mean the world to them.
Before we step away, we want to share something deeply personal: we have sacrificed so much to keep Aban Kitchen alive in Carbondale. We gave up time with family, worked long days and nights, and pushed through challenges, rising costs, and countless obstacles — all because we loved serving this community. There were many moments when it was hard… but you kept us going. Your support, your kind words, and your loyalty gave us strength.
And now, from the bottom of our hearts, we ask one thing:

The restaurant will only stay in Carbondale if the community keeps showing up, keeps sharing, keeps ordering, and keeps spreading the word.
