It’s the night before Christmas, and all through the floor, not a kiddo was sitting—they wanted one more! With blue floors ready and the warm-up done, the KidStrong coaches were having some fun.

From across the center, I heard a loud shout, “Ready? Set? Go!”—there was no doubt. With a confident smile and a coach’s quick trick, I knew in a moment it must be Coach Nick!

He left a sticker for every brave soul, who practiced their focus and crushed every goal. Then giving a high-five, he ran out of sight: “I am Strong! I am Brave! And to all a good night!”

This week, kids put together all the skills they’ve been working on—from life skills to movement skills—to complete an end-of-year challenge and earn a reward! 🎉

Showcase Week is so important because:

🌟 It allows parents and coaches to acknowledge each kid’s hard work
🌟 It reinforces the rewards of perseverance and hard work
🌟 It encourages reflection on the process

This week at KidStrong, we’re practicing balance, climbing, jumps—and doing it all with control and confidence. 😎

Parkour challenges kids to move through obstacles with speed, skill and creativity—building strength and problem-solving skills along the way. Talk about a win-win!

What’s more, these dynamic movements require adaptability, thinking on-the-move and supreme focus. So, as kids move through each obstacle, they discover what they’re capable of. And build a whole lot of confidence along the way.

This week at KidStrong, it’s all about developing fine motor skills and whole-body coordination through purposeful movement, including time on the monkey bars!

👐 Fine motor skills strengthen hand-eye coordination and focus
🧠 They support early cognitive development
🎯 They build persistence, precision and control
💪 Monkey bars build upper body and core strength
🙌 They improve grip, endurance and confidence
🐵 They encourage perseverance and smart risk-taking
