Good option for non resolved avascular necrosis of the talus. My difficulty has been getting facility approval for innovative procedures. Those in control would rather you do a fusion than try something that may maintain normal function.

About Seth J. Steber, DPM

Foot and Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Seth Steber graduated from the SUNY at Binghamton with a BS degree in Biology. He continued his education obtaining his doctorate degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. His podiatric surgical training was completed at Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton, NJ were he served as chief resident his final year. A national wound care center was located at the hospital and he spent more than 20 hours/week at the center involved in all phases of wound care.

Dr. Steber holds a special interest in lower extremity wound care, medical/surgical treatments for painful neuropathy, foot & ankle reconstructive surgery, arthroscopy of the foot & ankle and using computerized and video gait analysis.

Dr. Steber has lectured nationally and internationally on the subjects of wound care, reconstructive foot surgery and dynamic gait analysis. Board Certifications include: American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Academy of Wound Management. His is a Fellow of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons and the Amercian College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
