We are so blessed to have these people in our lives!

Last week some of our “regulars” in the gym decided they wanted to make lunch for us.

Needless to say it was fantastic and we were even able to work off some of the food with a friendly competition after!

As the semester comes to a close, we want to give a big shout-out to Jacob, our Simpson College student who has been with us for his internship!

Jacob is passionate about pursuing a career in physical therapy, and over the past few months he has jumped right in—observing sessions, asking great questions, and learning all he can about the PT profession. His curiosity, positivity, and willingness to help made him a wonderful addition to our clinic team.

We’ll definitely miss having him around, but we know he has a bright future ahead in the world of physical therapy.

Join us in wishing Jacob all the best on his journey!

"Why did 3 of my family members have the same pain? This past weekend, I traveled to Missouri for a baby shower. One of the fun (and predictable!) parts of being a Physical Therapist is that family members often come to you with questions about their aches and pains. Usually, it’s a mix of knee, neck, and shoulder issues. But this weekend was different! I had three separate family members come up to me, at three separate times, describing the exact same pain."

"I had muscle weakness and loss of muscle control associated with Parkinson's disease. My symptoms made it difficult to do ordinary tasks like brushing my teeth and writing as well as walking normally and maintaining balance.

After 2 weeks of the LSVT BIG® and Loud program, I felt significant improvement in muscle control. I will continue to practice the routines I've been taught to maintain the progress I've made. Thank you, Max! You're an excellent teacher, coach and cheerleader!"

"My initial visit to 21st Century Rehab was for knee pain & discomfort that was affecting my quality of life. The instruction & care I received helped improve my self care methods & overall strength. During my visits I began to notice a change in my confidence. Thank you so much to all the staff. I appreciate you all.

During a return visit to the office I was being treated for vertigo. Little did I know that meeting Dr. Matt would give me the treatment I needed to cure my extreme dizziness. He saved me!"

"When Rebekah started her foot drop, it made walking an issue! She was having non-epileptic seizures that stole her ability to walk, speak, and move her arms. Our visits included a walker.

Today she did 5 cartwheels before leaving! She walks without limp or foot drag, no more walker or slow gait."

"Mom Elaine started out with back pain from dead lifting little miss during her medical issues. Now even packing boxes and lifting, carrying, and long walks are pain free! Thank You All!"

As Physical Therapy Month comes to a close, we want to say how much we appreciate all of our amazing physical therapists and all they do to make our communities and patients better!
