As everybody who’s anybody knows, Carl, the Official Groundhog of Carlisle Manor is the finest prognosticator of fabricated weather forecasts in the panhandle of far-western Warren County, Ohio. He made his appointed appearance on February 2, 2026 and informed our Life Enrichment Director, Kristina Claborn, that he was unable to locate his shadow. Once in a very great while, you are privileged to witness a milestone in another person’s life. Bob is a resident at Carlisle Manor. He turned 100 years young on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. He was a fighter pilot in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He is a very kind gentleman who enjoys pleasant conversation. It is a great honor to have this patriot living in our home. Please feel free to say “hi” to Bob on this post and we will make sure his family sees the greetings!

This Halloween, our residents were treated to the triumphant return of Yoko Sumo, a sumo wrestler who made her debut 3 years ago during Nursing Home Week.
