Celebrating an extraordinary 106 years—our beloved Lois shines brighter than ever. Here’s a glimpse into her beautiful birthday celebration, captured in 6 minutes and 32 seconds.
Our sincere gratitude to the Honorable Mayor Keith Blackburn of the City of Carlsbad for presenting Lois with a mayoral commendation, to Ms. Diana Kutlow representing the Office of Senator Catherine Blakespear and the California Senate for honoring her milestone with a poppy certificate.
We also extend our thanks to The White House for sending a special birthday greeting signed by President Donald Trump, adding to the significance of this remarkable occasion.
We are deeply thankful as well to the Mission Vista High School Steel Drum Ensemble, our Very Important Partner (VIP), Shores Hospice, for helping make this celebration extra special, our volunteer photographer, Jon for beautifully capturing these treasured moments, and NBC 7 San Diego and Telemundo 20 San Diego for wrapping up this special day with coverage of this remarkable story.
