We know this season can feel overwhelming. Extra responsibilities, disrupted routines, family dynamics, financial stress, and memories that resurface can all take a toll on your mental health.
If you’re feeling more anxious, low, or exhausted than usual, please know this: you’re not weak, broken, or alone. You’re responding to a demanding season.
A few gentle reminders we often share with our patients:
• You’re allowed to protect your energy
• Rest and quiet moments matter
• Saying no is a form of self-care
• Small steps toward calm still count
If today feels heavy, slow it down. Take a breath. Step outside. Check in with your body. Reach out to someone you trust. And give yourself permission to do less.
Be kind to yourself this holiday season. Your brain and body deserve it. 💙
