ConnectMed is excited to partner with WYLDE Horses in Valley Center to offer a unique and meaningful opportunity for children and families in our community.
Through this collaboration, ConnectMed will cover half the cost of horse riding lessons, making this incredible experience more accessible. 💛

Horseback riding can be powerful for confidence, connection, and overall well-being—and we’re so proud to help bring this opportunity to the families we serve.

Happy birthday to one of our favorite volunteers, and beloved former Camp Cosmos Coordinator, Cashel! 

Many of our families know and love her for bringing such joyful but calming energy to our Camp Cosmos programs - from guiding breathwork in a way kids can understand and engage with to creating spaces for real, meaningful connection.

While we miss seeing her on a daily basis, we are SO proud that she passed her LCSW exam this year and is a shining her light as a Medical Social Worker at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital!

Anyone who knew Glendora felt her energy and joie de vivre—her love of food, fashion, travel, and adventure, and her deep commitment to special education in South San Diego County and speech therapy for children in Mexico with cleft lip and palate.

We’re honored to launch the Glendora Tremper Scholarship, supporting speech-language pathologists and care providers from resource-limited communities. By investing in these essential professionals, we aim to improve long-term care and quality of life beyond surgery.❤️❤️❤️

Join us virtually on Saturday, May 2 from 10–11:30 AM PST / 12–1:30 PM CT for a fun baseball-themed experience from home.

We had an incredible evening at the Padres game on April 14 as the Community Corner partner! ⚾️

Our team loved connecting with so many amazing families, sharing more about ConnectMed, and welcoming new volunteers into our community. From spinning the prize wheel to meeting new friends, the energy was nonstop—and the kids had an absolute blast!

Moments like these remind us how powerful community truly is. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, showed support, and helped make the night such a success. We’re so excited for what’s ahead!

It’s National ASL Day 🤟 and we’re proud to support environments where every child can connect, express themselves, and feel understood.

At our Wellness Workshops and events, we have ASL interpreters present to help ensure every family can fully participate. Creating spaces where everyone feels included, heard, and connected is at the heart of what we do.

Did you know: ConnectMed offer 4-5 online “Camp Cosmos” programs each year?

Our online programs make it possible for kids and caregivers to stay connected, even when distance, health, or logistics make in-person events difficult. And one of the best parts? Kids LOVE receiving and opening their Activity Kits together.

These Kits are filled with supplies for program activities, plus therapeutic and fun materials that help kids continue focusing on their well-being after the session ends.

A special thank you to groups like the National Charity League ,San Dieguito Chapter for helping us assemble these kits and bring a little extra joy to every family we serve. 💛

With our next event on May 2, “A Day at the Dugout,” families will join a virtual Padres ballpark tour and follow along with an extra special Activity Kit from home — bringing the experience to them, wherever they are. ⚾️

This was a powerful reminder of what happens when community, wellness, and purpose come together. Your energy, dedication, and teamwork helped create an experience that not only encouraged healthy lifestyles but also made a meaningful impact for those served by ConnectMed.

Compete for Causes is all about moving with purpose! These challenges bring people together to stay active, support important causes, and build connections with friends, family, and community. We all embodied that spirit!
