About Me
I was formerly a medical assistant in the OB/Gyn field of traditional medicine going back to 1976. I loved working with the patients but always felt there was more than could be done to help women in a more natural way. Seeing hormonal, physical and emotional health being improved in a natural holistic way is a particular passion of mine. Whether it is helping a young girl of 12 joyfully through puberty or a woman "50 years young" glide through menopause they are both journeys to be celebrated and embraced! IT IS Possible with Homeopathy and Nutrition! My own journey with homeopathy began over 16 years ago with my own chronic & debilitating illness. I tried many traditional as well as alternative treatments not knowing much at that time about homeopathy. My health was restored in such a dramatic and profound way that I knew it was to become not just my personal path but my professional one as well. I currently have been practicing homeopathy for 13 years and have my own private family practice. I also graduated from the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California as well as ran the school for 5 years and am currently a student mentor at the school. As the mother of four ranging in age from 11 to 30 years I am very aware of the challenges as well as the rewards that children can bring. I see many children in my practice and homeopathy is very effective in conditions ranging from ear and respiratory infections to behavior and ADD/ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

MLK, my hero. As a little girl from Georgia I had some brave and powerful hero’s in the 60’s. Dr. King was at the top of that list. I was so proud he was from Atlanta because I was too! There were many things in the south then that did not make me proud but he always gave me hope of a better tomorrow. He still does. “ The time is always right to do what is right.” His words were true then as they are today. Thank God for Martin Luther King.

A Thanksgiving with no Pumpkin Pie and Turkey?! Hard to imagine!🍽 The holiday dates back to Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts, in 1621, where pilgrims and the Wampanoag Native American tribe joined together to feast. This feast supposedly consisted of “freshly killed deer, assorted wildfowl, a bounty of cod and bass, and flint, a native variety of corn harvested by the Native Americans, which was eaten as corn bread and porridge.” This traditional way of cooking food is still prepared in the Blue Zones by people who live a full decade longer than us! Just some food for thought🦃 Happy Thanksgiving everyone!🍁🧡

Thankful. I love Thanksgiving because it is about what we are thankful for. Today, going through my FB I found this post from last year. I loved it and I really needed to hear it today.🍁I wanted to share it with you. Hug the ones you love. Kindness matters. Happy Thanksgiving.🦃
“At 40, Franz Kafka (1883-1924), who never married and had no children, walked through the park in Berlin when he met a girl who was crying because she had lost her favourite doll. She and Kafka searched for the doll unsuccessfully.

Kafka told her to meet him there the next day and they would come back to look for her.

The next day, when they had not yet found the doll, Kafka gave the girl a letter "written" by the doll saying "please don't cry. I took a trip to see the world. I will write to you about my adventures."

Thus began a story that continued until the end of Kafka's life. During their meetings, Kafka read the letters of the doll carefully written with adventures and conversations that the girl found adorable.

Finally, Kafka brought back the doll (he bought one) that had returned to Berlin. "It doesn't look like my doll at all," said the girl. Kafka handed her another letter in which the doll wrote: "my travels have changed me." the little girl hugged the new doll and brought the doll with her to her happy home.

A year later Kafka died. Many years later, the now-adult girl found a letter inside the doll. In the tiny letter signed by Kafka it was written:

"Everything you love will probably be lost, but in the end, love will return in another way."

Embrace the change. It's inevitable for growth. Together we can shift pain into wonder and love, but it is up to us to consciously and intentionally create that connection. 🌻”
