โจThe Onyxx Cares ๐ค
I am the middle child of seven, raised by a hardworking single mother who did everything she could to make sure we were well taken care of, working multiple minimum-wage jobs while relying on food stamps, Medicaid, and Section 8 housing. There were seasons when our meals came from food pantries, our beds from St. Vincent de Paul, our clothes from the Trusteeโs Office, and our school supplies from community donations.
Coming from such humble beginnings, I carry a deep sense of responsibility to give back and encourage others who share similar stories. Itโs truly a blessing to see how far faith, resilience, determination, and hard work have brought me. Despite the odds being stacked against me, God continues to write my story in ways that remind me of His grace and purpose.
This November, a percentage of every transaction at The Onyxx will be donated to The Salvation Army to support children and families in need. In addition, weโll have a donation box available for new or gently used childrenโs coats. As someone who once received those very donations, I know firsthand how much they mean to a child in need.
Iโm beyond grateful for all the love and support that surrounds me. Through every season, both calm and storm, I remain committed to pouring into others, extending grace, and being a blessing wherever I can. โค๏ธ
