**The Experience of Awakening**

Awakening is not always a thunderclap or a blinding light. Often, it's quieter—more like the moment the tide subtly changes or a fog begins to lift. You may not realize it as it's happening, only that something feels different: clearer, lighter, closer to the truth of things.

It begins with a question, a restlessness, or even a loss—something that cracks the shell of ordinary perception. And through that crack, light seeps in. Familiar things take on new dimensions. What once seemed solid and fixed begins to feel fluid, interconnected. There is a recognition, not of something new, but of something deeply known that had been forgotten.

Awakening can bring stillness, but also discomfort. It reveals both the beauty and the illusion in the life you've known. You might grieve old identities even as you outgrow them. But with this shedding comes an intimacy with the present moment, and a softening toward yourself and the world.

It’s not a final destination, but a return—to presence, to clarity, to the heart of being. It is the beginning of seeing, again and again, what is real.
