Spring is a season of growth… and growth isn’t always comfortable!

In our Bloom Through It: Growth, Flexibility & Emotional Resilience workshop, children will explore how challenges stretch us, how mistakes help us bloom, and how flexibility helps us adapt to change. Through creative, movement-based activities, students practice regulation skills, develop a healthy growth mindset, and learn how to tolerate frustration with confidence.

This class is part of our One Mind Foundation Spring Community Class Series, designed to help children grow from the inside out. Across this signature series, children build emotional regulation skills, strengthen resilience, and develop the confidence to navigate new situations. These experiences are designed by One Mind clinicians and grounded in the real-world work we do every day supporting children and families.

We are excited to now offer our community classes through our sister nonprofit, the One Mind Foundation, helping make the knowledge and expertise of our clinicians more accessible to families across our community.

Happy Work Anniversary, Molly!

We are celebrating two wonderful years with Molly Biggs, one of our incredible Mental Health Therapists at One Mind.

Molly first joined our team part-time and it didn’t take long for her to discover what makes One Mind so special. The collaborative environment, the shared passion for helping children and families, and the impact we are able to make in our community inspired her to grow into a full-time role on our team.

Over the past two years, Molly has brought compassion, dedication, and clinical excellence to the families she serves. She is especially passionate about working closely with schools, whether that means coordinating care with teachers and administrators or sharing her expertise through professional development and speaking engagements.

We are so grateful for the care and heart Molly brings to One Mind every day, and we feel lucky to have her as part of our community.

Thank you for two amazing years, Molly. We can’t wait to see all the lives you will continue to impact in the years ahead!

Think you’ve had a rough week? Try “ruffing” it up like Sirius and Winnie!

These are just two of our four therapy dogs who spend their weeks serving clients across our Broad Ripple, Carmel, and Fishers locations.

And while they make it look cute and easy, being a therapy dog is real work!

From offering calm comfort during tough moments, to helping clients regulate emotions, reduce anxiety, and feel safe enough to open up, therapy dogs play a powerful role in the healing process. They listen without judgment, provide grounding during difficult conversations, and bring a sense of warmth and connection into the therapy room.

But behind those sweet faces and wagging tails are long days of focused work, travel between locations, and constant emotional attunement to the people they’re supporting.

So when you see Finn, Remy, Sirius or Winnie passed out after a long day, know they’ve earned it.

Thank you to our four legged teammates for the compassion, patience, and joy they bring to our community every single week!

Today we are proud to introduce something deeply meaningful to our community:

✨The One Mind Foundation ✨

Parents today are navigating more complexity than ever before. Children are facing increased anxiety, emotional challenges, social pressures, and academic demands. Families and schools want to help but often feel overwhelmed or under-equipped.
The One Mind Foundation was created to change that.

Our mission is to expand access to connected, holistic support by equipping families, schools, and communities with the education, resources, and tools needed to help children thrive.

Through community classes, parent workshops, professional development, speaking engagements, and other accessible resources, the Foundation brings trusted, research-informed knowledge beyond the therapy room and into everyday environments where children grow.

When families are supported, children thrive.

And when children thrive, communities transform.

This is just the beginning…

Stay tuned for upcoming programs, opportunities to get involved, and ways we can build stronger communities together!

Our Mental Health Therapist Adrienne is hear to share the view from the family side.

One of the most common things we hear from parents before they begin care with our team is how exhausting the process has been:
💔They’ve spent months searching for help
💔Calling multiple clinics
💔Waiting on long lists
💔Driving to different offices for speech therapy, occupational therapy, mental health therapy, medication management, and nutrition & wellness
💔Trying to coordinate communication between providers who rarely have time to connect

It’s overwhelming. And parents often feel like they are managing the system instead of being supported by it.

That’s exactly why One Mind was created.

At One Mind, families can access multiple therapies in one place, with one collaborative team working together to understand the whole child. Our clinicians communicate, share insights, and build a coordinated plan designed specifically for your child and your family.

And the most common thing we hear after families start working with us?
❤️Relief

Parents often say they can finally take a deep breath knowing their child is receiving thoughtful, collaborative care without having to run to three or four different places or manage communication between providers themselves.

Collaboration isn’t just something we talk about. It’s our process.

Because when the right team works together, children are supported in becoming the best version of themselves!

Today, on , we celebrate the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere!

As a woman-owned organization, One Mind is proud to be led by women who believe in the power of collaboration, compassion, and collective impact. We know that when we come together with one mind and one mission, there is no limit to the change we can create.

But true progress is built together. We’re also incredibly grateful for the amazing men on our team who also champion our vision, support our mission, and stand alongside us in the work we do every day. Equality isn’t built alone. It’s built in partnership.

At One Mind, we believe:
✨ Individually we are powerful.
✨ Together, we are unstoppable.
✨ One Mind. Many voices. Infinite impact.

Happy International Women’s Day to the women who lead, the men who uplift, and the communities we serve!

Today our Mental Health Therapist Sean had the opportunity to speak with an amazing group of 4th and 5th graders about what it means to be a therapist!

Sean shared what therapists do, the skills it takes to support others, some of the challenges of the work, and most importantly how we can all learn to understand and manage our own emotions.

Conversations like these matter. When young people learn early that mental health is just as important as physical health, they begin to understand that it is okay to talk about feelings, ask for help, and support one another.

By opening the door to honest conversations about emotions, we help reduce stigma and empower kids with tools they can use for a lifetime.

Thank you, Sean, for helping students see that caring for their minds is a strength and that there are people and professions dedicated to helping them thrive!

Is it Friday yet?!

Many of us started this week feeling a little dysregulated thanks to unexpected snow and a two hour delay. Wacky weeks can throw off our routines and our nervous systems.

Mental Health Intern Mollie is here with a simple regulation tip to help you reset: Box Breathing.

Box breathing is a powerful tool for calming the nervous system. Rooted in ancient breathing practices from India and later adopted by Navy SEALs, this technique helps the body slow down and feel safe. By breathing in a steady 4 4 4 4 rhythm, we activate the parasympathetic nervous system, the part responsible for rest, calm, and regulation.

Here’s how it works:
⬜ Inhale for 4
⬜ Hold for 4
⬜ Exhale for 4
⬜ Hold for 4
Repeat.

You can practice box breathing anywhere: in the car, at school, in the grocery store, or as part of your daily or nightly routine.

When practiced regularly, it becomes easier to use proactively, right when stress starts to show up, instead of waiting until we feel overwhelmed.

Let’s finish this week grounded!

Every child deserves a strong foundation.

Every family deserves support that makes sense.

Care should be accessible.

Knowledge should be shared.

Support should meet families where they are.

Something meaningful is growing at One Mind,
and it’s built on that belief!
