Yeah I be flexin’ on them…

Most people don’t know this about me…

Before scalp micropigmentation, before the podcast, before all of this… I am a master barber.

I’ve been behind a chair for over 20 years, and one of the things I used to do all the time was shape women’s eyebrows with a straight razor.

A razor allows you to create a cleaner, sharper shape than waxing or threading because you have full control over every hair.

Fast forward to today…

My daughter just turned 13, and like most teenagers, she started becoming a little self-conscious about the peach fuzz on her face.

So we talked about it.

I explained that lightly shaving the face can actually help remove that peach fuzz and allow skincare products to absorb better into the skin.

Next thing you know…

She asked me to help.

And as you can see in the video… she was ready for it anyway.

Sometimes being a dad means giving advice.

Sometimes it means being the barber too.

Me watching artists work on dry skin… 😩

Dry skin creates more drag on the needle, which makes the procedure harder than it needs to be. More friction means more irritation, more redness, and more inflammation for the client. It also makes it harder for the artist to move smoothly and place clean, consistent impressions.

Conditioning the skin before and during your procedure helps everything work the way it should. The needle glides better, the skin stays calmer, and the overall experience is easier for both the artist and the client.

This is exactly why I keep Tattoo Balm in my setup. It conditions the skin, reduces friction, and allows you to work smoothly without overworking the area.

PMU and SMP are tattoos.
And tattooing on dry skin has never made sense.

Take care of the skin, and the skin will take care of your results. 💯

Real question:
How does an artist with two years of experience end up judging someone with eight?
Am I bugging… or is that a problem?

Hard to believe this gentleman once had a receding hairline.

Now look at him… smiling like a man who just got his confidence back.

A few sessions of hair loss tattoo (scalp micropigmentation) and he’s looking fresh again.

Sometimes it’s not about vanity… it’s about feeling like yourself again.

And that smile says it all.

One model says: pay for exposure. The other says: you are the exposure.
Neither is wrong…but you better know which one you’re in.

Can’t tell you how many permanent makeup artists we spoke to at this week’s who said:

“I love Hustle Butter… but I can’t use it because I’m a PMU artist.”

Let’s clear something up.

Permanent makeup is a tattoo.

Brows, lips, eyeliner, scalp micropigmentation… the needle is still working in the skin.

Which means the skin still needs the same things:

• Proper conditioning
• Protection
• Quality aftercare
• Ingredients that support healing

That’s exactly what was made for.

It’s not just a tattoo product.
It’s skincare for tattooed skin.

So if you’re going to put something on the skin after a procedure…

Make sure it’s the best product in the world for it.

Hustle Butter.
