DYK?

There are a large variety of calf implant styles and sizes that will fit almost everyone.

The calf is not a structurally complex structure...long tubular shape.

Silicone implamts are easilhy modified intraoepratively to fit the patient’s muscle size if needed.

Calf implants require the least incidence of need for custom implants of all body implants.

Shoulder w i d e n e n i n g - it’s uncommon and only ideal for a very few patients. The recovery is challenging, as is the surgery. We had a shoulder widening a few days ago- have a look at the details.

In this case, our patient had a circular 6 cm indentation that had been there since birth. Using 3D CT imaging, I designed a custom skull implant to restore the normal contour.
