This patient came to Dr. Beckman with a rupture of her left saline implant. Her original implants were mid-300cc saline implants that had been in place for more than a decade. After a thorough evaluation and discussion of her goals, we made a joint decision to exchange her implants for silicone and to modestly increase both volume and projection.

Switching from saline to silicone was particularly beneficial in her case, providing a softer, more natural feel, improved shape retention, and enhanced symmetry following the rupture. Her results now reflect a refreshed look with subtle lift and beautifully natural contours.

The inframammary approach means the implant is placed through a small incision hidden in the natural crease beneath the breast.

This patient is just 1 week out from rhinoplasty, and already you can see the early improvements in her nasal profile. At this stage, swelling and bruising are still present and that’s completely normal. Over the coming weeks and months, swelling will continue to resolve, and the nose will refine into its final shape.

Rhinoplasty is a procedure that requires both precision and patience. Each nose heals uniquely, and subtle changes continue to appear well beyond the first week. We’ll continue to follow her healing closely to ensure the best outcome.
