Vertigo looks different for everyone, but these symptoms are common:

• Spinning or whirling sensations
• Dizziness when changing positions
• Nausea or vomiting
• Balance problems or unsteadiness
• Headaches or neck tension
• Trouble focusing your eyes

If these symptoms keep showing up, your body is signaling that something is off - often in the neck, inner ear, or nervous system.

Feeling dizzy doesn’t always mean vertigo - but vertigo does involve dizziness with a twist.

Vertigo is the sensation that you or your surroundings are spinning, tilting, or moving, even when you’re standing still. It’s often linked to how your inner ear, neck, and brain communicate about balance and position.

Understanding the source of vertigo is the first step toward real relief.

Jaw tension doesn’t just make chewing uncomfortable. TMJ issues can trigger headaches, ear discomfort, neck pain, and even sleep disruption.

Gentle chiropractic adjustments help restore proper alignment in the jaw, neck, and upper spine—reducing muscle tension and improving mobility. Many patients feel relief in just a few visits as inflammation settles and the jaw begins to function the way it should.

If you’re noticing popping, clicking, pain when chewing, or stiffness when you wake up, chiropractic care may be a great next step. A quick evaluation with Dr. Evans can give you clarity and a plan for relief.

What is TMJ?

Most people say “I have TMJ,” but the truth is… everyone has TMJ.

The temporomandibular joints are the small but powerful hinges that connect your jawbone to your skull. You have one on each side, just in front of your ears. These joints help you talk, chew, yawn, and move your jaw side to side.

When these joints become irritated or misaligned, it’s called TMD (temporomandibular disorder). That’s when symptoms such as jaw pain, popping or clicking, headaches, ear discomfort, and neck tension start to show up.

Because the jaw, neck, and upper spine work together, gentle chiropractic adjustments can reduce pressure on the joint, relax surrounding muscles, and improve overall function. Many patients experience steady relief as alignment improves.

If you’ve been wondering whether your jaw pain or headaches might be connected to your TMJ, let’s take a closer look.

Elbow pain that keeps returning is often a sign that the problem isn’t just in the elbow. Limited shoulder mobility, poor wrist mechanics, or tight forearm muscles can all keep the irritation going.

A chiropractic assessment looks at the entire chain—shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand—to find the real source of stress. When everything works together, the elbow stops taking the brunt of the workload.

If your elbow pain keeps coming back, what questions do you have? Dr. Evans is happy to help you sort through what you’re noticing.

If you’re feeling tingling, numbness, or sharp pain down your forearm into your ring and pinky fingers, it may be cubital tunnel syndrome. This happens when the ulnar nerve gets compressed near the elbow—often from repeated bending or leaning on the elbow.

Chiropractic care focuses on:
• Improving joint alignment in the elbow and shoulder
• Reducing tension around the nerve pathway
• Helping you avoid common habits that aggravate symptoms
• Supporting better posture for long-term relief

Early support can prevent it from progressing to more stubborn nerve irritation.

Pain on the inside of the elbow? That’s classic golfer’s elbow...even if you’ve never touched a golf club. It’s common in people who lift, grip tools, do manual labor, or repeat wrist-flexing motions all day.

Adjustments help improve the way the elbow and wrist move together, reduce strain on the inflamed tendon, and restore your normal pain-free grip strength.

Want to know if what you’re feeling lines up with golfer’s elbow? Drop your question below or schedule a consultation with Dr. Evans today to learn more.

Tennis elbow isn’t just for tennis players. It often comes from gripping, typing, lifting, or repetitive wrist motions. The tendon on the outside of the elbow becomes irritated, making everyday tasks feel surprisingly painful.

Chiropractic care can help by:
• Improving joint alignment in the elbow, wrist, and upper arm
• Reducing muscle tension and tendon load
• Supporting healing with targeted soft-tissue work
• Coaching you on simple movement modifications

If opening a jar or lifting your coffee cup hurts, this may be the issue.
