🍽️ Table Talk Tuesday kicked off this week at as CoveCare promotes resiliency and family connections.

26 people joined us for dinner, games, and quality family time. It was wonderful to welcome returning families and those attending for the first time.

One parent summed it up perfectly: “It’s so nice to see no one is on their phones.”

🏀 349 Baskets Strong! 🏀

Our CoveCare MVPs scored a combined total of 349 baskets at this year’s Carmel Rotary Basketball Challenge!

A huge thank you to Eric Toth, Brian & Laura DeJesus, Meghan, CJ & Grace Tomaskovic, Brandon Lillard, Lynne Cabiati & Theo Williams, Jamison & Jake Blank, Stacey Gibson, Anita M. Minella and Sal Gambino for making these incredible results possible.

CoveCare Center was proud to join advocates from across New York State at the 29th Annual Legislative Day hosted by the Alliance for Rights and Recovery at The Egg in Albany.

Our Vice President of Programs, Krista Zanfardino — who serves as Co-President of the Alliance’s Board of Directors — stood alongside providers, community members, and individuals with lived experience to advocate for:

✔️ Workforce stabilization and fair funding
✔️ A health-based crisis response
✔️ Investment in supportive and affordable housing
✔️ Expansion of community-based behavioral health services
✔️ Criminal justice diversion and re-entry reforms

Together, we sent a clear message: New York must continue to protect and invest in the essential services that help individuals and families recover and thrive.
