Reminder: Children's TherAplay will be closed from December 22nd to December 26th. We will be open on December 31st from 8am to 1pm, and closed again on January 1st. Sessions will resume as normal on January 2nd.

"James is a happy and social 4-year-old who is lit from within! He likes riding the school bus, watching Sesame Street and Daniel Tiger, looking at books, and listening to all kinds of music to wake him up.

James has Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), which is a rare genetic disorder affecting about 1 in 15,000 births. James is missing a little bit of his 15th chromosome, and while it is the tiniest bit, it’s pretty impactful.

James started with speech and occupational therapy at TherAplay a year and a half ago and has since added physical therapy. He took to it quickly and is thriving! In speech, he came in not saying anything, and now his speech is really coming through. In OT, he’s had many opportunities to develop his fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and naming his feelings. And the leaps and bounds James has made in PT are extraordinary! Hippotherapy is highly recommended for people with PWS, and it feels incredible to get that in such a wonderful place." -Leslie, James' Mom

Last month, Children's TherAplay had the priviledge to once again participate in Spotlight on Art Benefitting Children! This event brings together award winning local artists and child artists, and community members for a fun evening of art and philanthropy🖌️🎨

We are greatful to the artists, sponsors, and committee members who helped to raise over $94,000 on behalf of Children's TherAplay, The Boys and Girls Club of Noblesville, and Prevail, Inc. 🥳

It has been such a joy to witness this event grow, thank you all for an incredible 4th annual Spotlight on Art! 💜

This year, we were able to open the Dobbs and Towriss Community Engagement Center, thanks to your donations! We are excited to begin using it for group therapy in 2026.

However, since last year, the gap left after insurance to fund a single hippotherapy session has risen from $105 to $140. Because we provide over 950 sessions every month, this gap leaves us over $200,000 left to raise to fully fund services between now and the end of December.
