The Children's TherAplay Foundation Children's TherAplay provides physical, occupational & speech therapy for children with disabilities. The list goes on.

At Children's TherAplay, licensed therapists provide children with disabilities physical, occupational, and speech therapy which uses the movement of a horse as a tool to accelerate physical, emotional, and behavioral development. For over 20 years, TherAplay has been treating kids 18 months to 13 years with a variety of diagnosis and developmental delays and we have grown to become the largest facility specializing in hippotherapy in the country. The horse can provide a therapeutic input that cannot be replicated in any other type of therapy. These inputs have allowed our clients to see transformational outcomes, such as children with mobility limitations taking first steps, non-verbal children saying their first words, children learning to feed themselves independently, and dress and care for themselves more independently.

Day of Giving is off to an incredible start!! Thank you all, and keep up the good work!

Our first Power Hour raised over $8,500 unlocking a $5,000 match from Randy and Kathy Clark and bringing our total to over $13,500 🤩 All funds raised during this time go back to our Scholarship Fund, which offers crticial financial assistance to TherAplay families.

Kipper is a 20-year-old Welsh pony who has served as a therapy horse for more than 6 years at Children’s TherAplay.
🤪 His silly personality includes loving attention, playing with zippers, and being the sweetest pony you ever did meet!
🥰 His sweetness extends to his pasture mates; he finds buddies quickly and easily and would make the perfect playmate for a horse needing some company.
📝 Kipper has cushings and a history of founder and choke, which is managed with daily meds and soaked hay and grain. Front shoes help him stay comfortable, and he will do best in a dry lot turnout.
💜After his many years of service to the kiddos in our community, Kipper has more than earned a comfy retirement!

The Children’s TherAplay Foundation is one of the few clinics in the country dedicated to providing physical and occupational therapies on horseback for children with special needs.
