It has been a LONG while since our last post! As it turns out, it's pretty busy having our own families and being OB/Gyns, who would have thought?
Anyway, here's some really exciting news! If you are pregnant and due between October and February you should consider getting the RSV vaccine between 32 and 36 weeks.
In summary: despite 2024-2025 being a much more severe RSV season than the comparison (2018-2020, pre-Covid), there was a 43% reduction in hospitalizations for the disease in infants 0-7 months old.
