We had a great day at Whitney Oaks Care Center hosting a BLS certification and recertification course for our team.

A big thank you to Alpha One and Stefan for coming on-site and providing such a high-quality, hands-on training. Opportunities like this are incredibly valuable as we continue to strengthen our clinical skills and ensure our team is always prepared to respond in critical situations.

Investing in our staff means better care for our residents, and we’re grateful for partners like Alpha One who help us make that happen.

We are incredibly grateful to the Citrus Heights Veterans Community Center for this meaningful donation to Whitney Oaks. This beautiful display and quilt are powerful reminders of the sacrifice, service, and courage of the veterans we have the honor of caring for every day.

Providing dignity, respect, and excellent care to those who served our country is at the heart of everything we do. Thank you for helping us recognize and celebrate our heroes in such a special way.

We are incredibly grateful for our Maintenance and Housekeeping teams at Whitney Oaks! They keep our facility clean, safe, and running smoothly, creating a comfortable environment for our staff and patients every day.

All six team members were recognized as our Employees of the Month for January — a well-deserved honor. Thank you for everything you do for the facility, our patients, and everyone who walks through the doors of Whitney Oaks.

Whitney Oaks Care Center – Honoring Our Veterans

Today, Gemma and our Admissions Team visited the Mather VA Hospital to personally thank our Veterans for their service. We handed out warm blankets, snacks, and holiday treats as a small gesture of appreciation for the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.

At Whitney Oaks, we are proud to care for Veterans every day and are grateful for the trust they place in us. It is an honor to serve those who have served.

🎃 Happy Halloween from Whitney Oaks Care Center! 👻

We hosted our first-ever community-wide Trunk or Treat — and it was a huge success! Staff, patients, families, and friends all joined in for an afternoon full of laughter, creativity, and candy. 🍬

We were even visited by our favorite therapy ponies, who brought plenty of smiles to residents and guests alike. 🐴💛

Our costume contest brought out some amazing creativity, but the winning look went to our “Knight Shift Nurse” ⚔️🩺 — a clever nod to the real heroes who keep things running after dark!

And to top it all off, we celebrated our Employee of the Month, our wonderful Activities Assistant, whose energy and compassion make every day brighter here at Whitney Oaks. 🌟

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make this event so special. The spirit of our Whitney Oaks family truly shines through in moments like these. 💙
