🎃 Happy Halloween from Whitney Oaks Care Center! 👻

We hosted our first-ever community-wide Trunk or Treat — and it was a huge success! Staff, patients, families, and friends all joined in for an afternoon full of laughter, creativity, and candy. 🍬

We were even visited by our favorite therapy ponies, who brought plenty of smiles to residents and guests alike. 🐴💛

Our costume contest brought out some amazing creativity, but the winning look went to our “Knight Shift Nurse” ⚔️🩺 — a clever nod to the real heroes who keep things running after dark!

And to top it all off, we celebrated our Employee of the Month, our wonderful Activities Assistant, whose energy and compassion make every day brighter here at Whitney Oaks. 🌟

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make this event so special. The spirit of our Whitney Oaks family truly shines through in moments like these. 💙

They shared valuable insights into the common struggles, joys, and feelings that many Veterans experience as they transition through different stages of life. This perspective helps us better understand and support the men and women who have served our country.
