HPCC Certificant Spotlight!

Meet Tracy Lilly, RN, CHPN®, a RN, Clinical IT Analyst with Hospice of Southern West Virginia and a proud CHPN®. Tracy was recently featured in the article "Hospice of Southern West Virginia honors team member for extraordinary work with Hospice Spirit Award."

When asked about the personal and professional impact of HPCC certification, Tracy shared:

"I currently work behind the scenes instead of in direct patient care. By maintaining my CHPN®, I can stay up to date on best practices, legislative and regulatory changes, as well as innovations in pain management. I have multiple roles under Clinical Analyst including managing the HQRP Hope Tool measures and obtaining commercial insurance authorizations. The continuing Hospice education required to maintain my CHPN® provides me with additional clinical hospice knowledge to allow me to complete these duties. I feel it gives me additional knowledge I can share with co-workers and especially new employees."
