Thank you to the Alice Tweed Tuohy Foundation for awarding us a Capital Improvement Grant to strengthen our South County Independent & Supported Living program at the Goleta apartments. This support will help ensure greater accessibility, safety, and quality of life for the people we serve—funding new outdoor lighting, security cameras, and an ADA access gate. We’re grateful for this partnership and the impact it will make.

Time to kick off Autism Acceptance Month! It's a time to celebrate autistic people, amplify autistic voices, and keep building communities where everyone can belong—without having to mask or “fit in.” Acceptance means listening, learning, and taking action: making spaces more sensory-friendly, communicating clearly, and supporting access needs at work, school, and in everyday life.

This month (and always), let’s choose respect over assumptions and inclusion over intention. What’s one way you’re practicing acceptance today?
