Sharing to boost and support arguably the most important educator and visionary in this space! (And the nicest, to boot!) So grateful I got this I meet Kimberly D. Rosas through this Kind Cup journey. I still remember a phone call when she told me she was launching Period Nirvana as an online store, and then as a physical retail store (do they give awards for the most inspiring and community-minded stores?! Bc her store would win!! 🙌💫). Beyond honored that she wanted to stock Kind Cup as part of the foundational offerings.
The number of hours she has poured herself into tirelessly educating and supporting people who have periods is more than perhaps anyone in history. But she’s so dedicated and humble, I don’t know if she would say so, despite her love of history and probably knowing full well her endless contributions 🥰💫🙏

A tale of two period products.

Single-use pads and tampons require repeat purchases over forty years of periods, creating massive profits for large corporations - and massive waste. That’s one of the main reasons why they’ve dominated the markets for so long - they create multibillion dollar industries by profiting off of people with periods, and so many still cut corners and use questionable materials in their products. 🙄

Let’s remember our humanity. 💛💫

I have to believe that in all of these horrific acts and events, that there will be a crumbling, a dismantling, a stripping back to a truth that matters and that is greater than the hate we continue to see.

I remember this statistic: 3.5%.
That is all it takes.
That is how we create the world and society we desire for our communities and future generations.

3.5%- That is how many of us need to consistently show up and remind the rest of our society that there is more good, more love, more humanity than those who desire to abuse power, harm others and our earth, would want us to believe.

I know there’s more than 3.5%. There must be.

Let’s come together and show the world our heart, our love, our humanity. 💫
