As many of us have been around many people or traveling on planes if you feel sick even the slightly please do not come to the gym . You not only risk yourself you put others at risk!
You should not exercise with the flu if you have a fever, body aches, or "below the neck" symptoms like chest congestion or stomach issues, as it stresses your immune system, risks dehydration, and can worsen the illness, potentially leading to serious heart issues like myocarditis. Rest is key, but if you only have mild "above the neck" symptoms (stuffy nose, sneezing), light daily activity is okay; wait until you're fever-free for 24 hours and gradually add in more activity.
