🍀 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙮 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙚! 🌈
The Daisy Lane crew headed out for their St. Patrick’s Day scavenger hunt around town, searching for the lucky icons hidden throughout the community! ☘️💰🌈🧝
Along the way, they discovered some extra fun stops, including bright green tractors at Van Wall Equipment 🚜 and a cheerful welcome from the Carroll Area Homeschool group at Faith Baptist Church, who waved and even danced for them as they passed by! 👋💃
Our individuals are solving riddles, finding clues, and enjoying all the unexpected moments along the way. A big thank you to the community members who helped make this scavenger hunt so special! Tonight the Kuemper Knights take the court for the Class 2A Championship, and your friends at New Hope are cheering you on! From all of us, play hard, have fun, and bring that championship home to Carroll!

🍀 𝙊𝙖𝙠𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙩 🌈
Yesterday the Oakridge crew headed out for their St. Patrick’s Day scavenger hunt adventure around town! With riddles in hand, they searched for the four lucky icons hidden around Carroll:
☘️ A giant four-leaf clover
🌈 A rainbow
💰 A pot of gold
🧝 A leprechaun
Each clue led them to the next stop as they explored town, laughed together, and kept their eyes open for anything green along the way. The decorations are placed at the homes of some of our amazing employees and guardians who helped make the hunt possible.
It’s been a fun way for our homes to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, get out into the community, and enjoy a little friendly treasure hunting!

Our campus homes are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with an in-town scavenger hunt! Individuals are searching Carroll for four lucky icons:
☘️ A giant four-leaf clover
🌈 A rainbow
💰 A pot of gold
🧝 A leprechaun
Yesterday, the Prairie Rose crew kicked things off! Along the hunt, they spotted plenty of green around town: a green house, green trees and plants, the giant slide at the pool, the football field, and even a green fish mailbox! Each stop is discovered by solving a riddle that leads them to the next lucky find. The decorations are hidden outside the homes of some of our amazing employees and guardians who helped make the hunt possible.

𝙇𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠, 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚. 💛
Pastor Cory from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sac City joined us for a simple and meaningful Prayer Service with about 10 of the individuals we serve. For many, it had been several years since they gathered in this way, and it was wonderful to share the experience together again.

The group sang familiar Bible songs like “Jesus Loves Me,” “This Little Light of Mine,” “Jesus Loves the Little Children,” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.” The music filled the room with smiles, clapping, and joyful voices.

Pastor Cory also shared a message from Psalm 23, reminding everyone that Jesus walks with us, even when life feels scary. Carolyn shared that she prays each night in her bed and Noel helped teach about the story of Jesus. Mike was smiling, laughing, and talking throughout the service, clearly enjoying every minute. It was a beautiful time of learning, singing, and encouragement.

We are so thankful to Pastor Cory for spending the morning with us and sharing this message of hope and love. Our next Prayer Service will be held on Good Friday. ✨

When Mark heard an ad on the radio for the Carroll County Cattlemen’s Banquet, he said he wished he could go. Thanks to the generosity of the Carroll County Cattlemen's - Iowa, that wish became reality! They donated four tickets so Mark and a few friends from New Hope could attend the banquet, enjoy a delicious grilled steak dinner with all the sides, and experience the event in person.

Opportunities to get out, try new things, and be part of local events mean so much to the individuals we serve. Thank you to the Carroll County Cattlemen for your kindness and hospitality! ❤️

💙 Meet Mark — A True New Hope Original 💙
Mark holds a very special place in our story… he was the very first individual to come live at New Hope nearly 50 years ago. Since then, he’s built a life full of friendships, routines, laughter, and growth.
Today, you can find Mark working at our C**n Rapids Bargain Shoppe, where he takes great pride in his job. He’ll tell you himself, having a job matters. Being part of a team matters. Contributing matters.
For almost five decades, Mark has trusted New Hope to be home. And in return, we’ve had the privilege of watching him live a full, meaningful life .
Stories like Mark’s are why we do what we do.
It’s not just about services.
It’s about lives lived fully.
