New Hope

New Hope is a Carroll, Iowa, based non-profit dedicated to enriching the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

New Hope offers both residential and vocational services to adults with disabilities in a variety of services. New Hope is a 501(c)(3) organization that offers both residential and vocational services to adults with disabilities in a variety of settings. New Hope brings the comfort and contentment of home to roughly 200 persons with disabilities. The combination of strong leadership, dedicated staff members, caring volunteers and generous donors are the hallmark of the quality services available at New Hope. Here, individuals are treated with respect and dignity, given the chance to fulfill their dreams, discover new opportunity and enjoy an atmosphere with caring support. Individuals served include a variety of adults whose independent living, employment, personal, social or functional development is challenged by an intellectual disability, developmental disability and/or brain injury. The variety of programs at New Hope enables clients to live with purpose and self-fulfillment, and to acquire and maintain the skills necessary for personal growth. Each person served has an individualized program based on his/her needs. New Hope does just what the name promises — offers "new hope" and enhances the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been loading up the bus on campus and taking evening rides to see the Christmas lights around Carroll and out at Swan Lake. 🎄🌟 These outings have been such a highlight for the individuals we support; the smiles say it all. 💚 A huge thank-you to the staff who make these moments possible and to our community for creating such a beautiful holiday season to enjoy. Christmas magic is everywhere…and we love being part of it. ✨❤️🎅🏻

🦃Earlier this week, our Connections program celebrated with a Thanksgiving feast for 60 people at St. John Lutheran Church! ✨ Individuals and staff worked side-by-side to prepare an incredible homemade meal. We’re talking corn casserole, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes (after peeling 30 pounds of potatoes by hand! 💪🥔), mac & cheese, turkey, and so much more. And yes… the dessert table was just as impressive. 🥧🍰
Moments like these are what Enriching Lives is all about — learning new skills, working together, sharing traditions, and celebrating as a community.
So proud of this amazing group! ❤️🧡💛
