Before the year ends, I just want to say this.

Thank you to everyone who trusted me, supported me, booked with me, learned from me, or simply believed in what I’m building.

From ICU burnout to building the practice of my dreams 💫

You know that feeling when you're good at something but your soul feels empty? That was me for years.

I started as an ICU nurse, caring deeply but burning out fast. Became a Nurse Practitioner thinking that would fix it. Tried family practice, pain management, urgent care... nothing clicked.

Then one Botox appointment changed everything ✨

Watching that patient's instant joy and transformation? I was hooked. But when I moved to California and worked with high-end clients, I noticed something that broke my heart...

Patients with skin of color were shocked to see someone who looked like them. That shouldn't be rare. That should be normal.

So I came back to Dallas with a mission. Got rejected from jobs despite my experience. Fine, I'll create my own seat at the table 💪

Opened NWME right before COVID hit (talk about timing!). Worked full-time elsewhere while building my dream after hours. Every late night was worth it.

My childhood in a small town with grandparents who raised me while my parents battled addiction? That didn't break me. It built the resilience I needed for this moment.

I refused to let my past be a crutch. Instead, it became my fuel 🔥

Today, NWME isn't just a practice, it's representation, education, and safe care for people who deserve to feel seen and understood.
