Today we have multiple locations throughout the DFW metroplex carrying on our initial purpose, serving the local community with exceptional physical therapy care. We provide a patient-centered, hands-on approach to physical therapy, sports medicine, and industrial rehabilitation care in the convenience of your own hometown. Runners…how often are you warming up before your higher intensity runs? Easy runs and long runs may not require a full warm up, depending on the time of day. But in order to run with the most efficiency, a solid warm up activating those fast twitch fibers is best!
1 mile jog. 2x10 yards A skips. 2x10 yards B skips. 2x10 yards Carioca. Then hit your tempo, threshold, or interval run!

Blood Flow Restriction Therapy:

Utilizes a pre-set cuff similar to a blood pressure cuff. It restricts a portion of venous return of the extremity. Exercises are completed at ~20% 1RM with the cuff inflated. This creates a physiologic environment similar to exercising at levels near 1RM which in turn accelerates muscle hypertrophy without needing to workout at higher levels of intensity!

This kid has come a long way! 👏
Day 1, we could barely touch his shoulder it was so painful. -> 9 weeks later we’ve progressed to the return-to-throwing phase. Getting him back to pitching and golfing (with realistic expectations…no fast balls for a while).
Young throwers often don’t have great balance, scapular stability, core stability, or hip strength. It’s not all about the arm and shoulder! Core, hip, and scapula are the base from which a good arm throws.
