Ever since I was young, I’ve had a memory problem. I learned early on, I cannot function without a reminder list. I keep my “to buy” list on my phone and add to it as I use something up or think of things…immediately…or it’s gone from my mind almost instantly. I got a new planner for Christmas that tells me everything to do. I can’t live without a planner!
I’m not very creative either. I wanted to remind myself to be thankful in 2023… so I simply got an index card and wrote on each side…(for mornings) “Thank you Lord…it’s going to be a good day”. And (for nights) “Thank you, Lord, it has been a good day”. I placed it on my nightstand to see when I wake up and when I go to bed. What do you do to help you remember?
“It is good to give thanks to the Lord...”. Psalms 92:1.

🙏Caring for your family, making money, and preparing for the future are all good things.. but don’t let them define you. Find your purpose, your worth, God’s plan for your life. Only God’s daily grace makes us truly grow and thrive.🙏

The very blood that flows through our veins, the beat of our hearts, and the steady hum of our metabolism-all of that is God’s free gift to us, a token of His constant and unconditional love. When we are so richly blessed, how can we not sing, even in troubled times. As you experience God’s unfailing love each day, sing His joyful song.🙏(Choose Grace)

🙏The gift of laughter is such a blessing. God wants you to laugh. He wants to fill you with joy. Some days, His grace will come to you quietly and calmly. But, every now and then, you will have days where He makes you laugh out loud. Look for reasons to laugh out loud with God’s joy.🙏

🙏Our brains are gifts from God, special gifts of grace we often take for granted. We need to offer our minds back to God. Practice thinking positive thoughts. Focus on truth, not lies. Pay attention to beautiful things and stop staring at the ugly things of life. Discipline your minds to take on God’s habits of thinking. Focus on things that honor God.🙏 (Choose Grace)

🙏Becoming a Godly person is a worthy goal for every believer. Prayer and Bible study are essential , but having the right relationships is important also. We need relationships that inspire and challenge us to become Godly people. If you don’t have anyone like this in your life, ask God to provide someone. We were not created to walk alone.🙏

🙏God created us with free will so we might choose to love Him-and that means His permissive will may allow bad things to happen. Sin’s consequences hurt, but this does not diminish God’s goodness. Though we may not understand His ways, we can trust them.🙏(In Touch)

🙏This little cat stayed out all night in the storm. I tried to get her inside. But she thought she knew best. She wanted to do what she wanted to do. She thought she could weather the storm alone. Now she is exhausted and laying in my bed content and resting. This made me think of our situation today. We have all been racing around in our earthly storms doing our own things and not obeying the Master. God knows what is best for us, yet we don’t listen. We have had many storms lately...thunder and COVD. We continue to do as we please. We need to turn to God and do as he says and follow Him into the House of the Lord. Where will you be when this “shelter in place” is over and our churches open back up? As for me...I’ll serve the Lord and gather together at my church as He commands. I pray you will too.🙏

🙏Why am I here? Everyone wonders this. The Lord has placed you here to fulfill His purpose. God has a unique plan for everyone. Christians have one goal-to be conformed to His image. He shows us how to be like Jesus-loving, kind, and peaceful. Trials and triumphs are engineered to fulfill God’s great purpose-crafting a life that reflects His love and glory to the world.🙏(In Touch)
