StickStar Report: Game Recap | 10 @ TorreyPinesLax 3

This may have been the best I’ve seen HP ever play against a dominant out of State Program.

Defense Shines | Coach has this unit playing at a Championship Level. The story of the game was the lockdown performance from and a relentless core of defenders who gave up nothing. The physicality and communication were elite from the first whistle to the last.

Man of the Match:

Standing tall in the cage, was an absolute wall. W***y turned away countless high-quality looks, surrendering only 1 goal through the first 3 periods. For his performance, he’s taking home a Free Pasta Dish from Momo’s! (Parents, the rest of the bill is on you!)

⚔️ Balanced Attack| Even without Sutton in the lineup, the Scots’ offense was the most balanced we’ve seen all season.

The Stat: 10 Goals from 8 different scorers.

The Takeaway: When you can’t key in on just one guy, this offense becomes a nightmare to scout.

The sophomore went absolutely unconscious against two of the most storied programs in the IAC, proving exactly why he is considered one of the Top 2028 players in the country.

StickStar Scoreboard: National Statement 🏟️

Texas Lacrosse went on a tear this weekend, proving once again that the gap has closed. Our top programs didn’t just compete on the national stage—they made a statement!

🦅 | The DMV Takedown

The Eagles headed north and came away with arguably the best performance of a Texas squad on the East Coast EVER, by winning not one but two massive signature wins against some of the most storied programs in the country.

ESD 10, #19 Landon 8: A monster 2nd half performance to take down a Top-20 mainstay.

ESD 11, #10 Bullis 10: The Eagles completed the sweep of the IAC powers with a gritty one-goal thriller.

| Defending the Star

Back in Dallas, the game StickStarReport attended, the Scots hosted a cross-region showdown and showed why they are the #1 ranked team in the South.

Highland Park 10, Torrey Pines 3: A dominant showing against the West Coast powerhouse. HP used a stifling defense and efficient, well balanced offense to control this matchup. This may have been the best I’ve ever seen HP play against a team from out of state. They were clinical.

There were tons of other crucial games taking place across the State that we will post about, but we wanted to highlight these due to their massive national significance!

StickStar Report: Men of the Match 🎙️

For the first time this season, we are proud to announce the Men of the Match! 🍝
Wednesday night’s clash at Dragon Stadium was a true “Tale of Two Halves,” and these two were the catalysts for the second-half surge that defined the night.

* : Pure offensive takeover. Big Mike exploded for 5 Goals in the second half alone—accounting for half of the Lions’ 10-goal rally. When the game was on the line, he was the answer. 🎯

* : The definition of a possession machine. Gabe was absolutely dominant at the Faceoff X, essentially making it MAKE IT TAKE IT. He didn’t just win draws; he dictated the tempo of the entire comeback. ⛓️

The Reward: Both athletes earn a Free Pasta Dish at to refuel after that performance. (Parents, you’re on your own!)

StickStar Report: Goals of the Game 🎙️
A classic “Tale of Two Halves” went down Wednesday night at Dragon Stadium. came out firing, putting together a dominant 7-1 lead, but refused to go quietly, mounting a massive second-half rally to bring it all the way back!

The highlight reel was heavy this week. Here are the players that kept the fans on their feet:
* with this ridiculous Twister late in the game.
* added this BTB really helped kick off the ComeBack!
* Dropped a massive “Big Man Bucket” inside to keep things rolling for the Lions!
* Zachery Grieve with the Hoop and the Harm on this bang bang play.
* David Bryan scored this early when the Dragons were rolling.
* had The Game Tying Alley-Oop late for the Dragons.
