It is with heavy hearts and spirits brightened by her memory that we announce the passing of our beloved Lisa Kay Hannen, who left us on April 10, 2026.
Lisa is proceeded in death by her parents James “Jake” Hannen and Marlene Kay (House) Hannen.
A true "light of our lives," Lisa taught everyone she met the meaning of unconditional love, resilience, and pure, unfiltered joy.
Lisa lived a life defined by kindness and a gentle spirit; she did so with a grace and a heart so large it seemed to encompass everyone she knew. To know Lisa was to be loved by her—and she loved hard.
Above all, Lisa loved her family. She was the glue in every gathering, the first to offer a hug, and the constant reminder to be gentle with one another. Her presence turned ordinary days into celebrations, and her laughter was the soundtrack to our best memories.
Lisa is survived by her “Baby” Brother, Jim Hannen II and Sister-In-Law, Bridgette Hannen, her Niece Trystont Tesa, great niece and nephew Lilyan Faye and Lucas “Jake” Hileman, along with her Aunt Judy, and many cousins.
"She didn't just live in the light; she was the light."
A service to celebrate Lisa’s beautiful life will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 8 p.m. in Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam with Pastor Bill Grimes officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home.
