Meet Dr. Amandeep Kaur.

If you have a wound that isn’t healing, it may be time to see a specialist. Dr. Amandeep Kaur, certified wound specialist and Medical Director at the Wound Care Center at Carrollton Regional Medical Center, helps patients with wounds that are slow to heal or not healing at all.

“Many people think a wound will just get better with time,” Dr. Kaur says. “But if it hasn’t improved in two to three weeks, that’s your body telling you something needs attention.”

Dr. Kaur and her team offer advanced treatments – including hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other specialized wound care therapies – to help patients heal faster and reduce the risk of complications.

If you or a loved one has a wound that hasn’t improved in a few weeks, don’t wait. Early care can make all the difference.

Patient Safety Awareness Week March 8–14, 2026

Patient Safety Awareness Week is an important reminder that safe care starts with awareness, teamwork, and clear communication. It’s a time to spotlight the systems, protocols, and people working every day to protect patients and prevent harm. From double-checking medications to encouraging patients to ask questions and speak up, patient safety is a shared responsibility. By staying informed and committed to best practices, we can continue building a healthcare environment where safety, trust, and quality care come first – for every patient, every visit.
