🚩 Introducing the Flags feature in Atlas: an immediate way to identify participant responses
We’re excited to spotlight one of the most powerful new enhancements in Atlas, introduced by our Co-CEO, Nico Gimenez.

Flags in Atlas give staff an immediate way to identify participant responses that may need attention. From the dashboard, teams can quickly see:
🔴 Red Flags: responses that may include self-harm or harm to others
🟡 Yellow Flags: responses that may signal disengagement or lower-level concerns

With just one click, teams can sort participants by the number of flags, review the exact journal entries that triggered them, and understand why Atlas flagged each response.
The result?
✅ Stay proactive with their caseloads
✅ Prioritize participants who need support
✅ Save significant time reviewing journals
✅ Ensure critical responses never get missed

Flags were designed to make your work easier, more efficient, and more impactful for the people you serve.

⚖️ Identification and Management of Behavioral Health Conditions in Jails & Specialty Courts
In our latest webinar, Dr. Norm Hoffmann, a nationally recognized expert in mental health and substance use assessment, broke down what really works inside jails and specialty courts.

Early identification of behavioral health needs isn’t a “nice to have", it’s essential for safety, recovery and successful reentry. Here are a few insights:
• Many individuals entering jail have substance use disorders or mental health conditions. Many face both challenges.
• Quick screens (like UNCOPE) help staff sort who needs further assessment, and who does not.
• Full assessments (like CAAPE-5) reveal the depth of need and guide treatment plans.
• Connecting people to resources before release improves follow-through and can help reduce recidivism.

If you missed the session, learn more in the blog!

And stay tuned for more actionable webinars for justice professionals that are on the way.

Learn how jails and courts can identify behavioral health needs early, use effective screening tools and connect individuals to care for safer outcomes.
