Meet Paxton 🐾

Paxton is an 8-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who is ready to find his forever home! ❤️

✨ About Paxton:
• Completely house-trained
• Walks beautifully on a leash
• Lets you trim his nails with ease
• Loves to curl up in your lap for cuddles
• Gets along fine with other dogs, though he prefers doing his own thing
• Has not been cat tested
• No major health issues

Paxton is a sweet, easygoing boy who will make a wonderful companion. He’s looking for a home where he can relax, get plenty of love, and enjoy his golden years. 🏡💛

🐾 Otis is Looking for His Forever Home 🐾

Meet Otis, a 4-year-old Bernedoodle with the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. This gentle giant is up to date on all preventative care, but is not yet neutered.

✅ Great with: other dogs & children
🚫 Not a fit for: homes with cats or chickens (he’s got a bit too much prey drive)
🛁 Fun fact: Otis is a perfect gentleman in the bath tub!

He thrives in a loving home environment where he can be part of the family but is not a huge fan of crates for long periods of time. His current owners love him dearly but are being forced to rehome due to an unexpected move and the challenge of finding a rental that will accept a dog of his size on short notice.

🐾 After 6 Long Months… Bixby Found His Forever Home! 🏡❤️

Six months ago, Bixby was found tied to the front door of the hospital — scared, confused, and alone. Since then, we’ve watched this sweet boy blossom into the goodest of good boys. 🐶

Today, our hearts are full. Bixby finally found a family who makes his tail wag like never before! 💫

Thank you to everyone who shared his story, sent love, and never gave up hope. Happy tails, Bixby — you deserve every belly rub and couch cuddle coming your way. 💕🐾

🇺🇸🐾 Holiday Hours Update! 🐾🇺🇸

Animal Medical Center of Cartersville will be closed July 4th through the 6th to give our hardworking team time to celebrate Independence Day with their loved ones. 🎆❤️

We will reopen Monday, July 7th and Tuesday, July 8th until noon, and resume normal business hours starting Wednesday, July 9th.

Please plan ahead for any medication refills or pet care needs.
