99 and still going strong! Carmel Lee has shown us all what true determination and resilience looks like. Carmel Lee experienced a fall in our community resulting in a right wrist fracture and a left patella fracture which left her in a right upper extremity sling and an immobilizer on her left lower extremity. During her time with our therapy team, she focused on wrist strengthening, range of motion, gait training, balance strategies, functional transfers, endurance, safety awareness, and lower extremity strengthening. With a strong spirit, great sense of humor, and determination to get back to her prior level of function, Carmel Lee did just that. She has now met all her goals with our therapy services and is stronger, safer, and back to using her walker again. Congratulations Carmel Lee, we are so proud of you for all your hard work!
