Today we took a moment to celebrate the people who make everything we do possible — our incredible staff.

Because of your dedication, compassion, and hard work every single day, our nursing home was recently ranked #4 in the entire state. That recognition doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because of the way you care for our residents, support their families, and show up for each other.

Thank you for the long shifts, the extra effort, the kindness you show our residents, and the pride you take in your work. Each of you plays a role in making this facility not just a workplace, but a place where people truly feel cared for.

Being ranked #4 in the state is something to be proud of — and it reflects the heart and commitment of this team.

We appreciate you more than words can say! Here’s to continuing to serve our residents with excellence and moving even higher together!

Last Friday, we recognized Black History Month celebrating faith, perseverance, and the powerful testimonies that remind us God works through every generation to bring justice, healing, and hope.

We “Laissez les bons temps rouler" at Carthage Senior Care today! We celebrated Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday with a parade, some jazz, beads, beautiful masks and feathers, red beans and rice provided by our Dietary Dept and some delicious King Cake provided by Quality hospice and Enhabit Home Health and Hospice💜💚💛🎭

At its core, Valentine's Day is about love-the kind of love Christ calls us to live out daily.
"Let all that you do be done in love."
1 Corinthians 16:14

Yesterday, we were reminded that love isn't just spoken... it's served.
Our residents were surrounded by kindness, joy, and connection because our incredible staff and family members poured their hearts into making this day special.
Each person used their God-given talents— whether through decorating, music, crafts, cooking, organizing, photographing, or simply sitting and sharing time-to show our residents that they are deeply valued and cherished.
This is what Christian love looks like:
+ Serving with humility
+ Giving without expecting anything in return
+ Using our gifts to lift others up
Thank you to everyone for being the hands and feet of Christ and for creating a Valentine's Day filled with genuine love, laughter, and purpose.

We enjoyed a spectacular Super Bowl Party today but it was also a celebration of our Activities Director, Teresa! She was out sick with the flu last week during Activity Director’s week so we are glad she’s back so we can celebrate her like she deserves! She is fantastic at her job and brings so much fun and laughter into these resident’s lives everyday and always with a smile! 🧡💚
