March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re reminding our community that screening saves lives. 💙

Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, but the best time to get a colonoscopy is before you ever have symptoms. Because of recent health trends, the recommended screening age for those at average risk has been lowered to 45.

Take charge of your health this month:

✅ Schedule: If you’re 45+, it’s time for your screening.
✅ Talk: Discuss your family history with your provider.
✅ Share: Encourage your loved ones to get screened, too.

Don’t wait—proactive screening is the best way to find and remove polyps before they can turn into cancer.

We had the best time at our Women’s Wellness Fair! 🏥 Between the ribbon cutting, introducing Dr. Brad Leath, and discussing specialized care like prenatal and pelvic floor therapy, it was a day to remember. 🩺

Dr. Leath is officially seeing patients at HOPE Family Health in Westmoreland on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month and still seeing patients at Highpoint Women’s Health - Gallatin for the remainder of the month!

Yesterday, we officially celebrated the opening of the new Highpoint Women’s Health outreach clinic at HOPE Family Health with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Brad Leath, a board-certified OBGYN who is officially returning home to Westmoreland to serve the community that raised him. By bringing specialized obstetric and gynecologic care right here to New Highway 52, we’re closing the gap for local families who no longer have to travel to larger cities for high-quality health services.

Dr. Leath is now accepting appointments on the first and third Thursday of each month from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From prenatal and postpartum care to hormone management and routine wellness, comprehensive care is now just around the corner.

We’re thrilled to highlight another incredible session at our upcoming HOPE & Health: Women’s Wellness Fair. This essential conversation on PPD: Breaking the Silence & Finding Support will help moms and families navigate the complexities of postpartum life. We will discuss how to recognize PPD signs , the best ways to start a compassionate conversation , and the steps toward finding healing and trusted resources.

This session is designed to provide practical insights and a supportive space for women at all stages of motherhood. Best of all, it is just one of many free resources available to our community during the fair!

It was a beautiful Saturday at the Gallatin Shamrock Run! Our team at Highpoint Orthopedics and Neurosurgery had a fantastic time meeting everyone at our booth and cheering on the runners and walkers winding through the streets of downtown Gallatin.☘️
