Today was a great meeting introducing our new Care Coordinator and Leave Behind Program. We also heard about the growth and community impact our Thrive.youthcoalition is having in Smith County.

It was great to have so many new community members join us today! 2026 is off to a great start! We always have room for more!

Join us for our next meeting on April 15th at 11:30am at the Smith County Chamber of Commerce.

ā€œOne silent hand gesture could save a life—if you recognize it.ā€ Did you know there’s a discreet hand gesture someone can give to a friend, family member, member of law enforcement, colleague or stranger to let them know they need help – whether the person is in a domestic violence situation, a victim of human trafficking or in another dangerous situation. But it only works if you know the hand gesture. Make sure you know it and show it to everyone you know.

We’re grateful to Gov. Bill Lee for recognizing January as Substance Use Disorder Treatment Awareness Month.

Alcohol can mess with more than just your night—it can affect your brain, your choices, and your future. Waiting to drink isn’t about rules or punishment; it’s about protecting yourself and staying in control.

✨ Your goals matter
🧠 Your brain is still growing
šŸ’Ŗ Saying ā€œnoā€ is strength, not weakness

You don’t need alcohol to fit in or have fun. Be you. Make smart choices. Look out for your friends—and let them look out for you.
