Today, the RRC issued a Notice to Operators. The NTO informed operators of critical fire conditions in Texas across the High Plains, South Plains, Permian Basin, Big Bend and West Texas regions. This heightened fire danger is expected to last at least through the latter half of the week.

Had a great experience attending the TPE/OQ Roundtable at the Charles K. Vaughn Training Center with our partners from Atmos Energy.

These roundtable discussions are always valuable, but this one stood out. Open dialogue, shared best practices, and thoughtful conversations around Operator Qualification, training standards, and real-world field challenges made for an incredibly productive session.

Huge appreciation to the Atmos team for their engagement, collaboration, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Events like this reinforce how important it is to bring industry leaders together to learn from one another and keep raising the bar.

Increasing Gulf and Pacific moisture will support rain early Friday before quickly transitioning to a wintry mix by late Friday through Saturday and Saturday night.
