Something is shifting soon.

I’ve been quietly building a space for people who feel undone after setting a boundary…

For the ones learning how to say no, stay soft, and stop carrying what was never theirs.

It’s not quite ready—but it’s getting close.

A softer way to carry what’s yours is on its way.

Lately, I’ve been feeling the weight of everything happening in our country. As a mental health therapist, I see firsthand how uncertainty, division, and constant exposure to negativity impact our well-being—including my own. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, but I remind myself that the only thing I truly have control over is how I spend my time and the actions I take.

Now, more than ever, we need to stay informed—not just by consuming headlines but by seeking out trustworthy, neutral sources that prioritize facts over fear. It’s tempting to retreat into echo chambers, but real understanding comes from listening to different perspectives with an open mind.

We also have a responsibility to be informed about actions that are unconstitutional. Our rights and the foundation of our democracy depend on knowledge and vigilance. Understanding what is and isn’t lawful is essential to holding leaders accountable and ensuring that our nation remains one that upholds justice and equality for all.

Despite our differences, we all share something important: we are Americans. And right now, we need to find ways to come together, to support each other, and to work toward solutions instead of deepening divides.

Take care of your mental health. Be mindful of what you consume. Focus on what you can control. And remember, we’re all in this together.

As a mental health counselor, I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families overcome their struggles and achieve a fulfilling life. I hold strong values of compassion, empathy, and respect for all individuals, regardless of their background, beliefs, gender, or sexual orientation and expression.

In my work with individuals, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I work collaboratively with my clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses their unique needs. I have a strong foundation in attachment theory and understand the importance of secure attachments in mental health and well-being. I work with my clients to develop a secure therapeutic relationship and to explore how attachment experiences may be impacting their current relationships and mental health.

My work with the LGBT community has been particularly rewarding, as I have seen firsthand the impact of social stigma and discrimination on mental health. I am committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of my clients, and to advocating for their rights and well-being.

In addition to my work with individuals, I also have experience working with couples. I use evidence-based approaches to help couples improve communication, resolve conflicts, and develop skills for connection. I have worked with married couples and those in premarital counseling, helping them to build a strong foundation for their relationship and navigate the challenges of married life.

Finally, I am comfortable working with clients who have spiritual or religious beliefs, and I am committed to respecting and supporting their beliefs as part of their treatment. I believe that mental health and spirituality are interconnected, and I work with my clients to explore the role of spirituality in their lives and how it can be used to support their mental health and well-being.

Overall, my position as a mental health counselor has allowed me to support and empower individuals and couples from all walks of life. I am honored to be a part of their journey towards healing and self-discovery, and I am committed to providing compassionate and effective care to all of my clients
