📚We kicked off our Beyond Book Club program with a Literature Lovers Social! The goal of Beyond Book Club is to encourage reading and book-related activities beyond our monthly book club meetings. Residents gathered to chat about their favorite books while enjoying delicious snacks and tea.

We also hosted a “Blind Date with a Book,” where books were wrapped and featured only a brief description to spark curiosity. In addition, residents enjoyed a pressed-flower bookmark station, where they created their own bookmarks to use throughout the year.

🍝🍕🇮🇹Another fantastic night out for dinner on the town! We make it a tradition to try a new restaurant each month, and this month we enjoyed Italian cuisine at Garibaldi Trattoria Pizza & Pasta in Fuquay-Varina. Delicious food and a wonderful evening!

We got a sweet start to the year at our Cake Café Social Series!

Celebrating the opulence of Versailles, we raised a fork in cheers to our favorite flavors and enjoyed a dessert tasting with coffee.

While we enjoyed our delicious desserts, Heather serenaded us with French classics on her pedal harp.

And the biggest treat? Spending time with all our friends. 🍰

We can’t wait to see where this Year of Adventures takes us!

Meet one of our ambassadors, Arlette!

Before moving to Atria Cary, Arlette had never picked up a paintbrush. Thanks to the guidance of one of our fellow residents, Jay—who leads painting classes twice a week—she discovered a passion for art she never knew she had.

Known throughout the community for her signature purple hair, Arlette is a familiar face at Cary activities and events. Our community truly shines with her in it, and she’s always eager to welcome and connect with new residents.

What a year! ✨

We stayed busy, made new friends, and shared plenty of laughs as we look back on all the fun we had in 2025.

From our super-fun social series—like the outdoor event where we got to hold baby goats—to Casino Royale, plus exciting outings and elaborate parties, it was a year full of memorable moments.

As we say goodbye to 2025, we’re excited to see what 2026 has in store!

Happy Hanukkah! 🕎

Yesterday evening, we began the holiday by lighting the menorah together. Today, we continued the celebration with a meaningful discussion about Hanukkah, where residents had the opportunity to share their favorite traditions and memories. This evening, we hosted a festive dinner for those who celebrate the holiday, and other residents were invited to join in and enjoy traditional Hanukkah foods as well.

❄️🌲Our Atria Cary holiday celebration was a huge success!

We welcomed the season with a Winter Wonderland–themed afternoon that began with a lively cocktail hour and entertainment by Christian Greene. A special thank-you to EE Photography for sponsoring our photobooth and providing printed photo keepsakes for everyone to enjoy.

Guests were treated to a beautiful display of holiday feasts, followed by wonderful entertainment from The Tune Swingers Orchestra. The celebration wrapped up perfectly with a delightful dessert table shared among friends and family.

🎨🖌️Our community is filled with incredible talent, and our residents had the chance to share it at our art show. With paintings, wine glasses, and beaded items on display, there was truly something for everyone.

We took a trip over to Danville, Virginia for a visit to Caesar’s Casino! Before trying our luck on the floor, we stopped for a wonderful lunch at Golden Leaf Bistro — then it was off to the slots and tables! 🎰♠️
