People often asked how often they should get post-lipo MLD massages. That really depends on your personal situation, how much swelling and discomfort you are experiencing. Most people experience relief with twice per week for the first month, then drop back to once a week for another month or so. Occasionally I see people three times a week for the first two weeks after surgery if they are experiencing a lot of swelling and discomfort.

Vitamin C has been shown to support immune function, especially while healing, to help fight off infections and to keep our resistances up. Our bodies don't make Vitamin C so we have to get it from our diet, ideally on a daily basis. Common foods that are high in vitamin C include broccoli, tomatoes, bell peppers, kale, snow peas, kiwifruit, strawberries, guava, papaya and, of course, oranges.
